Sludge granulation and waste code change

Sludge is one of the by-products of wastewater treatment process. It can be further processed and turned into a product that is safe to be introduced into the environment as soil enhancer. The process itself is conducted using full hygienisation and sludge granulation lines. The line consists of a reactor, lime silos, sludge and granule conveyors and a lime dispenser. Thickened and dehydrated sludge is mixed in the reactor with a specific dose of quicklime. During lime hydration process, the temperature increases, creating sterile and stable granules of specific size, thus making their storage and transport a lot easier and safer. The main use of this product is agricultural crops fertilization. The product can be sold on condition of the seller obtaining marketing authorization.
